Membership Structure
The MIST center partners with industries, consortia, academia, and individuals at three membership levels:
- Corporate Member: supports the entire Center;
- Participant Member: supports one or two Research Areas (different membership fees);
- Associate Member: supports one Research Area only.
Federal and state government agencies may participate in MIST as MEMBERS. Membership fees are unrestricted grants to support the research in the Center and include administrative and operating expenses of no more than 10%. Members identify the faculty member and MIST research area being supported.
