Research in the Materials and Devices Research Group (MDRG) explores the physics and engineering aspects of novel semiconductor materials and devices. Much of the current theoretical work focuses on electron transport in large band gap materials, specifically III-nitride compounds and carbon nanotubes, and in conjugated organic semiconductors, such as certain polymers and molecular crystals.
